Privacy policy
Last updated October 28, 2026
This policy covers tidewaterforge.org, orders from the Tidewater Forge Etsy shop, the internal tool we call ULTRON station (including its read-only Gmail access), and any business emails we send.
This website
The site has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics or ads. It is served by Cloudflare, which may keep standard request logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability under its own privacy policy.
Etsy orders
Etsy processes payments. To make and ship your order, Etsy gives us your name, shipping address and order details. We use them only to fulfil and support the order and to keep the records the law requires. We never sell personal information or share it for advertising.
ULTRON station and Google user data
ULTRON station is an internal tool used only by the owner of Tidewater Forge, on the owner's own Google account. It is not offered to the public, and no other person's Google account is connected to it.
- What it accesses: read-only Gmail access (the
gmail.readonlyscope), used only to find job-alert emails sent by Upwork to the owner's mailbox. It does not read other emails for any purpose, and it cannot send, delete, label or change anything. - How the data is used: the text of those job alerts is saved on our own computer so we can rank the jobs and draft proposals, which the owner reviews and submits by hand. Email addresses are removed from the text first. The text may be processed by an AI model provider solely to produce those rankings and drafts.
- Sharing: we do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. It is not shared with anyone except the model provider for the purpose above.
- Retention and deletion: saved job alerts are kept while they are useful for our own job search and then deleted. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
ULTRON station's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Business emails
We may occasionally email a business about our services, using only a contact address that the business publishes. Each email identifies us, includes our postal address, and lets you opt out. If you reply or ask us to stop, we add your address to a do-not-contact list and won't email you again.
